Original German WWII SA Standartenführer Collar Tab Oak Leaves (Matching Pair)
This is an original matching pair of German WWII SA (Sturmabteilung) collar tab oak leaf devices for the rank of Standartenführer. These gilt oak leaves were worn on the collar tabs of senior SA officers and represent the rank equivalent to a Colonel.
The pair is die-struck from brass with a bright gilt finish that remains well preserved, showing only light wear from age and service. Each oak leaf displays excellent detail, including sharply defined veining and acorns, with an attractive, untouched patina.
Both examples retain their original brass attachment prongs on the reverse, all of which remain intact and unaltered. The reverse surfaces exhibit the typical oxidation associated with age but show no signs of repair or restoration.
Overall, this is a very fine matching pair of original SA Standartenführer collar tab oak leaves, ideal for completing or restoring an original set of SA officer collar tabs or for display in an advanced Third Reich insignia collection.
