Original WWII U.S. M1 Front Seam Fixed Bale Helmet with Firestone LinerHelmet Shell-
Fixed bale, front seam M1 helmet with original khaki web chinstrap. Retains approximately 95% of its original OD green paint with a cork-textured finish. Shows minor wear along the outer edge and some scrapes on the top of the dome. Overall, in excellent condition.
Liner: Firestone-marked liner with original leather sweatband, which remains supple and in very good condition.
Missing Components: Original neckband strap and leather chinstrap are missing.
Condition & Features: The liner exterior has some stains and scuffs, and features a one-inch-wide yellow painted band along the bottom edge. It is unclear whether this paint was applied during wartime or post-war. Despite these minor imperfections, the liner remains in very good condition.
