Original US WWII M1 Swivel Bail Helmet With Korean War Westinghouse / CAPAC Liner

This is an original US M1 helmet consisting of a swivel bail bale steel shell paired with a Korean War Westinghouse / CAPAC liner.

The shell retains its original corked olive drab finish with honest wear and age-related marks consistent with use and storage. There is a name / letters written on the front. The swivel chinstrap bales and web chinstrap are intact and function as intended.

The liner is clearly marked with the "W" Westinghouse logo over “CAPAC,” indicating production by CAPAC Manufacturing Company under Westinghouse contract during the early 1950s. The suspension system remains intact and usable, showing moderate wear consistent with age. The leather sweatband is dry and cracked, but still intact. Unfortunately the leather chinstrap is missing.

Overall still in very good condition.
