Original U.S. WWII M1923 M1 Garand Cartridge Belt by H.S. Co. 1943
M1 Garand cartridge belts were a web gear item issued to American soldiers during World War II, specifically designed to carry ammunition for the M1 Garand rifle, the standard U.S. infantry rifle of the time.
This authentic canvas belt is marked "U.S." on the front and faintly marked "H.S. CO. 1943" on the back. It does show minor wear and fading throughout. All lift-the-dot snaps and the khaki retaining straps are in good working order; there is some oxidation on some of the snaps. The buckle hardware is intact and shows some wear.
Overall, lightly used but remains in very good to excellent condition. Would work well as display or for reenacting.
