The M1943 Field Jacket was the main component of the the US Army’s improved combat uniform issued in the latter part of WWII. This jacket, with only minor design changes, was issued to American troops for the next 50 years, and is still manufactured today for the civilian market.
We believe this jacket is the 370D pattern since the large "How to use" white rectangular tag below the collar, in cheese cloth is still attached near the neck area. The production dates for this pattern was Feb 1944 - Feb 1945. The spec tag in the bottom right pocket is intact, but the tag says it is a Pattern B. The dark brown buttons remain intact. Small off white size tag sewn in at the collar seam is 36L. There are some field repairs with minor normal wear. Overall in very good to excellent condition.
