Unissued Original U.S. WWII Early St. Clair Low-Pressure M1 Helmet Liner
Early WWII M1 helmet liner manufactured by St. Clair, with the yellow “SC” marking visible inside the crown. The exterior retains the majority of its original factory olive drab paint, with scattered storage marks, light scratches, and small areas of paint wear.
The interior retains its original fixed olive drab cotton suspension webbing in excellent, unissued condition. All of the A-washers remain in place, along with the suspension’s crown adjustment cord. The liner is shown without a sweatband, neck strap, or leather chinstrap.
An attractive early low pressure St. Clair liner with well preserved factory paint and suspension in mint to excellent condition.
