Original US WWI M1910 Infantry Haversack – Perkins Campbell 1917
This is an original M1910 haversack, manufactured by Perkins Campbell Co. and clearly dated 1917. Constructed of heavy khaki canvas with all original web straps, metal hooks, and fittings intact. The flap retains the “U.S.” marking and features the large external meat can pouch with closure tab.
The haversack shows light service wear with discoloration and staining, oxidation to the metal hardware, and one period field repair on the main flap—typical for its age. All straps remain flexible, and the internal divider and securing loops are complete.
Aside from visible stains and field use, this would be ideal for display or completing an early impression.
