This authentic WWI Army officer’s visor cap features a wool cover in excellent condition, with only a few very small moth holes. It has a brown russet leather bill and chinstrap, both well-preserved. The cap comes with a black officer’s eagle insignia.
Inside, the leather sweatband is missing, but a manufacturer's tag is sewn in, along with the officer’s last name handwritten on it. While there is no size tag, the cap measures approximately 6 7/8 to 7.
Despite the missing sweatband, this cap remains in very good overall condition, making it a fine addition to any WWI collection.
