Original US WWII American Red Cross HBT Ditty Bag
These bags were distributed through local Red Cross chapters and commonly used by servicemen to store personal items such as toiletries, shaving kits, sewing kits, letters, and other small essentials while in the field or during transport.
This original ditty bag is constructed of olive drab HBT (herringbone twill) material. There are some stains on both sides. The drawstring is intact. Aside from the stains, this is still in very good, usable condition. Measures approximately 15.5" x 14.5".
