Original German Pre-WWII HJ Deutsches Jugendfest 1935 & 1936 (German Youth Festival) Tinnie Badge Set
A "tinnie" is a small, inexpensive badge or pin produced in large quantities by the NSDAP (1933-1945) to commemorate a wide variety of events, rallies, and fundraising efforts. Despite the name "tinnie," they were made from various materials including metal (aluminum, tin), plastic, glass, wood, or even pressed leather. There are estimated to be over 8,000 different designs of WHW items, ranging from regional crests to fairy tale characters.
Both are stamped metal commemorative badges. The bronze colored tinnie is 1936 and the silver is 1935
Both exhibit age related finish loss and some abrasions. The pinbacks are intact. Overall in very good condition. Please refer to photos for more details and actual condition.
