A "tinnie" is a small, inexpensive badge or pin produced in large quantities by the NSDAP (1933-1945) to commemorate a wide variety of events, rallies, and fundraising efforts. Despite the name "tinnie," they were made from various materials including metal (aluminum, tin), plastic, glass, wood, or even pressed leather. There are estimated to be over 8,000 different designs of WHW items, ranging from regional crests to fairy tale characters.
This is an original commemorative tinnie issued in 1936 to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Re-establishment of the NSDAP Reich Party Rally (Reichsparteitag) in Weimar.
This bronze stamped metal badge is in good condition. Shows typical age-wear and finish loss. The original pin is intact.
