A "tinnie" is a small, inexpensive badge or pin produced in large quantities by the NSDAP (1933-1945) to commemorate a wide variety of events, rallies, and fundraising efforts. Despite the name "tinnie," they were made from various materials including metal (aluminum, tin), plastic, glass, wood, or even pressed leather. There are estimated to be over 8,000 different designs of WHW items, ranging from regional crests to fairy tale characters.

This is an original grouping of nine Winterhilfswerk (WHW) and commemorative badges, tinnies, and fundraising items. The assortment includes a variety of colorful celluloid, metal, cloth, and pressed paper examples representing different WHW campaigns, regional themes, and patriotic organizations.

Overall condition of all items is good to very good. They show typical age-wear and toning. Definitely a nice mixed collection. Sold as a set.
