Refurbished Original US WWII M1 Swivel Bale Helmet With Firestone Liner Medic Marked
EXTERIOR
This is an original U.S. WWII M1 front seam swivel bale helmet shell that was refurbished post-war and repainted in an olive drab textured finish. The helmet features large four-panel medic markings, consisting of red crosses within white circles applied to the front, rear, and both sides. The shell retains its original swivel chinstrap bales and original khaki web chinstrap with correct period hardware.
The exterior finish remains well preserved, displaying only light handling wear and minor scuffs consistent with age. The medic insignia remain bold and highly visible, giving the helmet excellent display appeal.
INTERIOR
The interior of the shell appears to retain its original factory-applied olive drab paint, showing honest age and service wear. The helmet is paired with an original Firestone liner retaining its original paint finish. The liner remains fitted with its original suspension system and original nape neck strap. A reproduction headband has been installed for completeness, while the liner chinstrap is no longer present.
The suspension remains intact and functional, with expected age-related wear to the webbing.
