Original US WWII M1 Carbine Paratrooper Jump Case by Carter Bros. Inc.– Dated 1944
This is an original WWII jump case designed specifically for the M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine, allowing the weapon to be carried with its 15-round magazine inserted during airborne operations. Commonly referred to as the “Paratrooper holster,” it features the correct felt-padded interior side for comfort against the leg—meaning the “U.S.” stamp was always oriented outward when worn.
This example is manufactured by Carter Bros. Inc. and is dated 1944. It shows honest age and use, with staining throughout the canvas along with some fading. The snaps remain fully functional and the leg strap is nicely intact.
The case remains solid and in overall very good condition for a field-used example.
