Original German WWII Winterhilfswerk (WHW) Various Historic City Gates, Castles, & Coat of Arms Plastic Tinnies (Lot of 10)A "tinnie" is a small, inexpensive badge or pin produced in large quantities by the NSDAP (1933-1945) to commemorate a wide variety of events, rallies, and fundraising efforts. Despite the name "tinnie," they were made from various materials including metal (aluminum, tin), plastic, glass, wood, paper, or even pressed leather. There are estimated to be over 8,000 different designs of WHW items, ranging from regional crests to fairy tale characters.
The lot includes 6 historic German city gates --unfortunately one of the castle tinnies is chipped. These are not marked.
The 2 castle round-shaped tinnies are marked with the castle name on the back and both are slightly discolored and show age.
The 2 coat of arms tinnies are in good condition - no flaws.
Overall these are in good, aged condition. Sold as a lot.
