Original German WWII M40 Single Decal Luftwaffe Helmet SE64- This original German WWII M40 Single Decal Luftwaffe Helmet, manufactured by SE (Sächsische Emaillier- und Stanzwerke A.G., Lauter) and sized 64. Bearing the marks of wartime use and storage, it displays small scrapes, scratches, and minor rust spots on the exterior of the dark Luftwaffe blue textured paint.
The 2nd model Luftwaffe decal remains approximately 85% intact, with small scrapes and scratches acquired from use and the passage of years.
Internally, the helmet boasts an excellent condition leather liner that is supple and marked size 56. Complete with the original drawstring. Additionally, it comes with an original leather chinstrap, marked and appearing to be dated 1940.
Presented in very good to excellent condition, this Luftwaffe M40 helmet makes a striking addition to any WWII collection.
