Original German WWII M16/17 Single Decal Heer Late War Helmet Size 62- This M16/17 Single Decal Heer Late War Helmet, originating from the German WWII era, presents a compelling snapshot of mid to late war reissued helmets. Its exterior and interior boast a uniform factory-applied field-gray textured paint, though bearing expected minor scratches. Notably, atop the dome, the absence of paint suggests prior storage upside down or exposure to water.

The Heer decal, characteristic of late war production, remains approximately 65% intact, exhibiting some chipping due to the textured paint application.

The helmet features a complete leather liner, retaining suppleness and the original drawstring, with minor signs of wartime wear consistent with its historical use. The liner band is of the wartime zinc variety. Notably, an original chinstrap is not included.

Overall, this late war reissued M16/17 helmet presents in very good to excellent condition, offering a compelling piece of WWII history.
