Original German WWII Heer M40 Single Decal ET64- This combat-worn M40 ET helmet showcases a dark field-gray paint with a subtle fine texture and a Heer decal, approximately 85% intact. The exterior paint retains around 90% of its original factory coating, with normal small scrapes and scratches throughout. Both the inside and outside paint exhibit consistent wear, reflecting the rigors of its wartime use. The liner, showing signs of age and wear, remains intact, is a light brown to dark brown color from being worn. Notably, the liner includes the original drawstring. The chinstrap appears to be original, but the long strap has been broken off at the end. The short part of the chinstrap is dry and the roller buckle has broken off, is still attached to the long part of the chinstrap. In overall good to excellent condition, this combat-used M40 ET helmet encapsulates the practicality and durability demanded by the wartime era.
