Original German WWII Heer M40 Single Decal ET64- This combat-worn M40 ET helmet showcases a dark field-gray paint with a subtle fine texture and a Heer decal, approximately 85% intact. The exterior paint retains around 80% of its original factory coating, with notable wear concentrated on the top of the dome. Both the inside and outside paint exhibit consistent wear, reflecting the rigors of its wartime use. The liner, showing signs of age and wear, remains intact, with some damage towards the front attributed to constant use and exposure to sweat is a dark brown color. Notably, the liner includes the original drawstring, contributing to its completeness. The chinstrap is missing. The German soldiers first initial and last name are done with white paint on the rear inside of the rim. In overall good to excellent condition, this combat-used M40 ET helmet encapsulates the practicality and durability demanded by the wartime era.
