This is an original German WWII NSDAP Party pennant that has had the separately applied swas. roundel removed. The outline of the original insignia remains clearly visible.
The pennant measures approximately 12" long by 7" high (30.5 x 17.8 cm) and is constructed of red cotton with machine stitched edges. The original cord is still intact. The red field remains vibrant and displays light aging and use. No real flaws besides the remaining outline of the insignia.
This remains an original wartime pennant that accurately reflects a common postwar practice. Would work well for display or for a restoration project. Still collector worthy.
