Original German Pre-WWII SA Group Photograph Postcard Gauführerschule 1935
This is an original German pre-World War II photographic postcard depicting a large group of approximately 40 SA (Sturmabteilung) members, believed to have been taken during a leadership training course in 1935.
The photograph shows a mixture of enlisted personnel and officers posed in front of an impressive institutional building, likely a regional training facility or leadership school. The majority of the men wear the classic SA brown shirt uniform complete with swastika armbands, visor caps, and leather belts, while several individuals appear in darker service tunics indicative of senior rank or instructional staff. An excellent study piece for collectors and researchers of early SA uniforms.
The reverse is unused and bears a handwritten notation that appears to read "Gauführerschule 1935" ("Gau Leadership School 1935"), suggesting the photograph commemorates attendance at a regional leadership training course. The postcard is otherwise unmarked.
The photograph exhibits light age toning with minor corner and edge wear consistent with age and careful storage. The image remains sharp with excellent contrast, allowing many uniform details to be studied.
