These are original German WWII Dienstglas 6x30 binoculars manufactured by Voigtländer, maker code "ddx." The binoculars are complete with their original Bakelite carrying case.
The binoculars have been nicely preserved. Optics are very clear, but there is no rangefinder. The majority of the original finish is intact, aside from a few age-related marks and nicks. The leather neck strap is supple. They are marked with the serial number 270732 and a △ symbol (indicates a low temperature lubricant was used internally).
The reddish/brown bakelite case is solid. The closure hardware is in good working order, but the leather pull tab is missing. There are remnants of the original leather carrying strap still attached. The belt loops on the rear are dry and cracked. We advise that aged leather should be handled with extreme care. The interior is clean, and the name "Palka" has been lightly scratched into the bottom of the case.
Overall condition for this set is very good.
