Original German WWII Pre/Early War Clothing Bag
This is an original German WWII Clothing Bag - a standard issue to German soldiers for carrying spare clothing and personal items.
Constructed of heavy olive green canvas, this early war example features leather closure straps, a web carrying handle, and leather-reinforced side seams. Both original leather buckle straps and web handle remain intact and functional. Leather is still pliable, but we always recommend carefully handling aged leather items. The web handle is most likely a period replacement. The interior is mostly clean, while the exterior shows signs of use and age wear; there are 2 period field repairs on the one side (photo 3).
Overall in very good condition.
