Original U.S. WWII M1942 Field Dressing Pouch 1943
The field dressing pouch is designed to carry a sterile Carlisle bandage, serving as a basic first aid for immediate wound care on the battlefield. Typically one is carried on a equipment belt for easy access.
This authentic web canvas pouch is marked "U.S." on the front flap and is faintly marked and dated 1943 on the reverse side. The pouch is lightly stained and faded. The "lift-the-dot" snap and belt hook is intact. There is a serial number stamped on the inside of the closure flap.
We believe the field dressing bandage and bandaids are Post War. The pouch is in good, used condition.
