Original U.S. WWII Jungle First Aid Pouch by Avery 1943 With Post War Contents

These were designed to hold essential medical supplies for soldiers in the field. Items may have included gauze, bandages, antiseptic wipes, and pain relievers.

The faded canvas on this Model-2 pouch is in good, used condition, but does have some edge wear, stains and discoloration. It is very faintly marked "U.S." on the front closure flap. It is maker marked and dated "AVERY 1943". The snaps are in good working order.

Pouch contents can be seen in photos. We don't believe all the contents to be WWII-era nor do they all appear to be used for medical purposes. All containers may or may not have contents, some are still sealed and some are not. The condition varies. *The contents are not suitable for actual use.
