Original German WWII Heer M40 Single Decal EF68- This combat-worn M40 EF helmet showcases a dark field-gray paint with a subtle fine texture and a Heer decal, approximately 85% intact with minor wear and scratches. The exterior paint retains around 95% of its original factory paint coating. Both the inside and outside paint exhibit consistent wear, reflecting the rigors of its wartime use. The liner, showing signs of age and wear, remains intact, is a light brown to dark brown color from being worn. Notably, the liner includes the drawstring, contributing to its completeness. The chinstrap appears to be original, but the long strap appears to have only 10 holes instead of 13 and it has not been cut off at the end. The short part of the chinstrap is dry and the roller buckle has broken off and is missing. In overall very good to excellent condition, this combat-used M40 EF Single Decal Heer helmet encapsulates the practicality and durability demanded by the wartime era.
